Corporate Social Responsibility

Projects and programs are designed in order to promote the concept of corporate social responsibility through the establishment of a cross-sector cooperation between civil, business and public sectors. Alongside, CSR projects are advocating for the integration of ethical principles in regards to the employment of persons with disabilities, by providing all kinds of support in design, development and implementation of educational programs that directly contribute to a corporate social responsibility expansion.

Program Title: Public Campaign for the Development of Corporate Social Responsibility 2

Duration: December 2011 – March 2012.

The project is based on an approach that directly involves various sectors and contributes to the implementation of CSR Strategy in Serbia. The project works within the framework of a public campaign that entails different activities that assist with the planning and implementation of practical CSR policies. In addition, through the implementation of an Action Plan Strategy the project contributes to the general analysis of corporate social responsibility in Serbia.

Employment of Persons with Disabilities as a Social Corporate Responsibility

Program Title: Employment of Persons with Disabilities as a Social Corporate Responsibility

Creator and administrator: Youth with Disabilities Forum

Duration: Unlimited

The goal of the program is to improve the knowledge about the hiring and assessment processes of persons with disabilities, as well as employers’ capacity building in regards to these procedures. Trainings provided aim to address immediate and crucial problems and obstacles regarding the successful employment process of marginalized groups within all sectors in open labor market. This specific education is based on providing a general picture about the capabilities that persons with disabilities have, better communication between parties, and enhancing the implementation of good practices. The program is designed for all HR managers and other employees of various sectors within socially responsible businesses.

The project represents an innovative model of cooperation between corporate and civil sectors, as a form of practical application of the principles of social responsibility. Activities planned are aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of persons with disabilities through various educational programs and workshops, alongside strengthen their competence and competitiveness in the labor market.
