The Youth with disabilities Forum announces a call for internship program in companies for 16 youth with disabilities

Youth with Disabilities Forum invites all interested young people with disabilities from the city of Belgrade to apply for an internship program.

The call is open for motivated young people with disabilities, who are up to 35 years old and want to gain work experience through three-month internship in business sector. Youth with Disabilities Forum will provide monthly fee to cover transportation costs and meals. Each intern will be assigned with a mentor from a business entity in which they will attend the internship.

The practice lasts for 3 months: mid-March to mid-June 2018.

Deadline for submission is Friday, February 23th, 2018.

One candidate can apply to more than one position.

The selected candidates will have a five-day training to acquire additional knowledge and skills in the field of work before attending the internship. Attendance training is compulsory for selected interns.

The internship program is a part of the project “Internship for Youth with Disabilities Employability”, which aims to improve the employability of youth with disabilities through the development and implementation of the innovative internship program.

The project is supported by the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, within the thematic grant scheme “Supporting Innovative Approaches to Tackle Youth Employment and Employability “, which is part of the project “Support to the implementation of the Employment Policy and Social Policy Program in the Republic of Serbia with focusing on employment and increasing employability of young people “(” Youth Employment Initiative “) financially supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) entitled” With Knowledge to work – E2E “.
